Wade M. Duncan Obituary

Wade M. Duncan was born to the late Charles Lee and Mary Sue Duncan on November 13,1928 in Northampton County, Virginia. 

Wade received his education through Northampton County Public Schools. He earned an honest living with various  employers to include, Campbell Soup and Kane Miller until his health began to fail. Wade was known for his love for God, singing and humming the tunes of gospel music. He was humorous, enjoyed yard work and repairing items. During his retirement, he looked forward to greeting the school bus in the evening to receive his great-grandchildren. Wade enjoyed "ridding out" with his wife. On the weekends, you knew where to find them in the former Bayshore Market parking lot, in Cape Charles, "sight-seeing".

Wade leaves to cherish his memories his wife of over 60 years, Roxie Duncan; nine children, three daughters Dorothy (Albert) Chisum, New Church VA; Vivian(John) Robinson, Dover, DE; Roseann Finney, Salisbury, MD; six sons Wade Duncan Jr., Salisbury, MD; Charles Duncan, North Carolina; John Duncan Wachapreague, VA; William Duncan, Keller, VA; Louis (Rosa) Duncan, Horntown, VA; James (Laura) Smith, Painter, VA; one step daughter Johannah Johnson, Marksville, Louisana; two step sons, George E. Trower, Rocky Mont, North Carolina; Kenny Trower, Richmond, VA; one brother-in-law, David (Shelia) Trower Sr. Culls, VA; three sisters-in-law Mary Trower, Margaret Washington both of Nassawadox, VA; Margaret Trower Fairview, VA; twenty-eight grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. 

Wade was proceeded in death by one sister, Porgie Duncan; two step sons, Curtis Johnson Jr.; Albert C. Trower; several brothers-in-laws; aunts and uncles.
