Tyrone Eugene Trower was the beloved son of Violet Trower Patterson and Tyrone Bloxom. He was born on January 17, 1976, and departed this life on October 13, 2025, at the age of 49.

Tyrone was a man you didn’t forget once you met him. He had a very distinct, deep voice and a playful sense of humor—always ready with a joke, a quick one-liner, or that signature grin that could brighten the whole room. People loved to be around him.

Though he never married or had biological children, Tyrone loved deeply and gave generously of himself. He cherished his family—especially the tight bond he shared with his brothers, a closeness that was steady and unbreakable. For many years it was his mother and her three boys; later, when Violet married Edward Patterson, Edward supported and cared for the family in every way he could.

Tyrone accepted Christ and attended Truth Ministries in Richmond, Virginia. He loved football—always reppin’ his Philadelphia Eagles—and on game day he was rarely seen without his Eagles hat or jersey. Family gatherings and holidays were his favorite times, especially when his mother was in the kitchen.

Tyrone sought God’s healing and walked a long road with courage and hope; those who loved him will always honor his courage in that journey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Violet Trower Patterson, and stepfather Edward Patterson; his siblings Pierre Trower (Amanda) of Virginia Beach, James Trower of Hampton, Tyvon “LB” of Accomack, Tavyna of Texas, Jessica (Robert) of Salisbury, and Lamont (Chanita) of Salisbury; a large and devoted extended family including aunts, uncles, a host of nieces and nephews, and many cousins—several as close as siblings; Crystal Henry, his companion of many years; and the grandchildren he loved by heart: ZaDai, Zaimond, and Ximora Thomas.

Tyrone will be remembered for his laugh, that unforgettable voice, his loyalty to family, and the joy he carried into every room. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
