His Life’s Story 

 

Trevonne Avant Stith, affectionately known as “Duke”, was born to Tracy Stith & Anthony Young On December 23, 2001. God, in His infinite wisdom, called Trevonne home on December 24, 2018, after a tragic death. 

 

Trevonne, was raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and was a 17 year old junior at Northampton High School. Trevonne expressed his belief in the Lord and often attended the African Baptist Church with his family. When he would notice his mother feeling stressed, he would tell her, “You know the Lord got it.” 

 

Trevonne, had a deep love and passion for basketball. He had an aspiring dream to one day okay for the NBA. Trevonne’s favorite subject was history. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his siblings and cousins. “Duke” was such a loving and caring person with a smile that touched the souls of many. He was a big believer that men are not supposed to cry. 

 

He was predeceased by his great-grandfather, James Stith.

 

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Tracy Stith, Fairview,VA; father, Anthony Young (Hope) of Hare Valley, VA; Nikita Coles (God-mother) Bayview, VA; grandmothers, Wanda Stith, Fairview, VA and Alice Coles, Bayview, VA; grandfather, Charles Custis, Cape Charles, VA; great grandmother, Rosalyn Stith, Seaview, VA; six siblings: Tonya Young-Arline (Charles) Clementon, NJ; Tywanna Stith and Tyjanique Campbell, Fairview, VA; Loreacer Kellam, Jabias Kellam, and Ialiyah Wynder, Bayview, VA; niece, Akira (Shay)Young; nephew, Jaden Arline both of Clementon, NJ; six special friends: Taevon Davis, Nazir Burton, Chrishaun Reaves, Devin Ames, Greg Waters & Jacorey Kellam; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
