Travis La'Mont Robinson Obituary
Travis La'Mont Robinson, affectionately known as "Cyph," was born on September 9, 1979, in Nassawadox, Virginia, to Brenda Robinson and Thomas Smith Sr. On January 14, 2025, he departed this life peacefully at his home, surrounded by love and cherished memories.
Travis grew up on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, where he attended Northampton County Public Schools and graduated with pride. During his school years, he discovered his passion for cutting hair, fixing radios, repairing CD players, and anything related to music. Travis was a true creative, channeling his talents into writing lyrics, creating beats, and producing music that reflected his vibrant spirit. Known for his “fixer mentality,” he was always finding ways to improve and repair whatever came his way.
After graduation, Travis began his professional journey at Perdue Farms in Accomack County, where he exemplified a strong work ethic and dedication. However, his greatest passion lay in his barbering skills, which he perfected and shared with countless clients in the Eastern Shore and Tidewater communities.
Travis’s faith in God was deeply rooted and often evident in his music. In 2016, he performed a heartfelt rap alongside his daughter Ariana in the "Ten Toes Down" challenge, which showcased his love for the Lord and his family. Travis brought joy to those around him with a bright smile, a handsome presence, and a kind heart.
