Tabitha Smith-Dillard-Johnson, the daughter of William and Martha Smith, was born on December 12,1933. She took her wings and went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2017 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onley, Virginia. 

Tabitha was born in Cedar Grove, Virginia. She attended the public school system of Northampton County, Virginia. She was married to her first husband, Ulysses Dillard. To this union three sons, William, James, and Robert, were born. Her second marriage is where she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Percy Johnson. This union produced her son, Wayne Dillard. 

Tabitha worked at America House, C&D Seafood, and as a healthcare nurse. She enjoyed eating good food, watching westerns, and game shows. Tabitha was a warm-hearted person. She cared deeply for her children and family. She joined First Baptist Church, Capeville at an early age. 

She was preceded in death by two sons, William and Robert; nine brothers, Harrison, Tom, Leonard, Roy, Joe, Curtis, Washington, George, and Joseph; and two sisters, Mable and Martha. 

Her memory will be cherished by: two sons, James Dillard and Wayne Dillard; one sister, Mamie Boney; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
