On February 4, 2017, Susie Denise Wilson departed this life, while being a patient at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. Susie, the fourth of five girls, was born into the family of the late Leon Edward Wilson and Mary E. Wilson. She attended the Portsmouth Public Schools; she graduated from Manor High School. She was also a graduate of Kee Business College. 

At an early age, Susie was baptized at the Emanuel A.M.E Church. During the time at Emanuel, she served on the usher board. She also served as the church secretary under the leadership of Reverend James F. Mason. Not only that, Susie was really active in the YPD. 

She was a quiet and loving mother, sister, and friend to many who knew her. She leaves to mourn: one son, James Wilson; one daughter, Keilani Richardson; two grandchildren; four sisters, Shirley Patterson, Jean Weston Langston (Tom), Gloria Reynolds, and Beverly Osby (Kenneth); one godson, Marcus Payne; nieces and nephews, Whitney, Alex, Sharnita, Dwanda, Craig, Cheryl, Danette, Keith, Sandra, and Regina; cousin, Clifton Carver; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She will always remain in our hearts!
