Ray M. Watts also known as "Speedy", was born on June 26, 1958 in Accomac County, VA.  God called him home on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Queens General Hospital of Queens, NY.

He was a very loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In his spare time, he loved watching sports, such as football and basketball, playing his bass guitar and cooking. Ray went to LaGuardia Community College, where he received his degree in Culinary Arts.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lois Ann Watts and his father Raymond Watts. He leaves to cherish loving memories; his wife Evelyn Watts, Queens NY; his children, Annette Lane of Norfolk, VA, Jarbob of Fariview, VA, Wynika Watts of SC, Ray Watts Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, Shanell Medina (Julio) of Queens, NY, Rashawn Watts of Queens, NY, Terrance Watts of CT, Ebony Watts, Teyrell Watts, and Jasmine Watts all of Queens, NY. Eighteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. His four sisters, Sharon Mackey (George) of Keller, VA, Sandy Parker of Norfolk, VA, Velma Watts of Savannah, GA, Lonnie Watts of Dover, DE, and Kim of New Jersey. His mother in-law Norine Robinson of Queens, NY, his father in-law Giles Lee of Nottingham, FL. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
