The Beginning

Philmore Johnson was born to the late Sudie Johnson and Thomas Johnson in Bridgetown, Virginia.

The Journeys

He grew up in the Bridgetown, VA area. In his adult years he worked as a Farm Laborer and Horse Trainer. His hobbies were talking long walks and playing his guitar. He was a proud member of the Bethel Baptist Church male chorus of Franktown, Virginia. Philmore was predeceased by 9 brothers and 4 sisters.

The End

Due to a long illness he departed this life on May 13, 2014 at his Heritage Acres residence located in Cape Charles, Virginia while accompanied by his care giver Arlene Jones. He leaves to cherish his memories 1 brother Preston Johnson of Capeville, Virginia. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews along with other family and friends.
