Perley Alexander Ames Obituary
Perley Alexander Ames, Sr. attended Northampton Public
Schools. Perley was a worker from an early age and he always
provided for his family. He worked on Ross Lattimer’s farm.
Later he became a waterman. When things got slow on the
water, he found his new passion with Perdue Farms, where he
worked for 25+ years. After his retirement, he picked up
painting and making portraits which became his latest

time with family. Perley also loved talking about politics.
