CELEBRATING KATIE JO
KatieJo DeMarino, 42 of Oyster, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister passed away in her home with her family by her side.
She worked as a commercial fisherman with her husband. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and her dog Lexi.
She is survived by her mother/father, Debi Gurd, of Machipongo, Virginia. Her husband, Charlie DeMarino, of Oyster, Virginia. In addition to her loving mother and husband she is also survived by her children Chelsea Vaentin (George), Matthew Frisby, Charlie DeMarino Jr. (Hannah), and Heather DeMarino. She will be missed by her 3 grandchildren, Tricity, MadiMae, and Stetson. She also leaves behind her siblings Johnathan Gurd, Becky Powell, Johnathan Core, Kari Core, Kayden Fitchett, and their families.
