On September 3, 1994, Da’juan KiAeem Brisco, was born to Lakeitha Brisco and
Alfonso Baines in Nassawadox, Virginia. “Dunna” as he was affectionately
called, exited his earthly life on January 9, 2023, at Riverside Regional Medical
Center in Newport News after a brief illness.
Da’juan received his diploma from Northampton High School. After
graduating he held various jobs such as Perdue Farms and fast food
restaurants. Da’juan had a passion for rap and hip-hop music. He was a
diehard Baltimore Ravens and Golden State Warriors fan. In his free time, he
enjoyed playing his video game and spending quality time with his family and
friends. As a kid, “Dunna” loved eating quaker rice cakes. His older cousins
would often say “life was great, long as he had his rice cakes.”
Da’juan’s departure was in the hands of the one who determined his
entrance to this thing we call life.
Da’juan was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Helen Brisco;
uncle, Levin Brisco; and cousin, Buddie Goffigon.
Da’juan leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Lakeitha Brisco
(Antonio Hines); siblings, Tra’Quan Brisco, Tamaze Brisco (Danyale), Keimoni
Bright, Mylasia Brisco, Phorzavion Brisco, and I’Zhanae Bright; his beautiful
niece, Indiyah Brisco; grandmother, Linda Brisco; grandfather, Henry Tankard;
great-grandfather, James Brisco; special aunt, Keisha Mapp; three first
cousins, Keona Jones, Myiesha Jones (Chuck), and Michael Jones; favorite
cousins, Akeem Tankard, Purnell Mason, and Tequesta Wilson; his best friend,
Shanikqua Giddens (Shena); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
