The Beginning

MAMIE ANNETTE POWELL was born to Leona Manley and William Nathaniel Manley on January 22, 1960. God in infinite wisdom, called her home from labor to reward on Thursday December 19, 2013.

 

The Journeys

Mamie, affectionately known as “Mamie Girl”, was reared in moved to Trenton, NJ in 1980. She married Roosevelt Javon Powell Jr. on January 3, 1980. She worked as a Bus Aide for Garden State Transportation for the past 12 years.

 

She was predeceased by her mother Leona Manley and father Nathaniel Manley and brother William Manley, father-in-law Mr. Roosevelt J. Powell, Sr.

 

The End

On December 19 Mamie passed on leaving precious memories for family and friends to cherish. Two daughters L’tanya N. Powell & Erica J. Powell both of Beverly,NJ and one son Eric J. Powell of Beverly,NJ. One granddaughter Tyjianah N. Fogle, and two grandsons Tymere N. Powell and Aaron J. Fogle, all of Beverly, NJ.

Mamie was also survived by her siblings brothers Samuel Manley of Cheriton,VA , Ardell Manley of Cheriton,VA, Larry Manley(Laverne) of Bunnlevel, NC and Wendell Manley of Cheriton,VA.

Mother-in-law Martha Powell of Cheriton,VA; Brother-in-laws Darryl Powell(Cristina) of Santa Maria, CA, Wayne Powell(Jacqueline) of Randallstown, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
