Maggie Jennetta Weeks’ daughter of the late John Bailey and Maggie Scarborough Bailey departed this life on Tuesday August 22, 2023, at Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, Virginia. She was predeceased by three brothers Charles Bailey Sr., James Bailey, and Peter Bailey, four sisters Geneva Camper, Georgia Camper, Edith Robinson, and Martha Lee Rowley.

She was born in the Northampton County Virginia where she lived all her life. Educated in the Northampton County Public School system. Maggie was united in holy matrimony to the late Maurice Weeks Sr.

She worked in various occupations including housekeeping, farming, factory work and bookkeeping for Weeks Contracting Company. She also loved sewing, hairdressing and babysitting her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and children in the community.

During her life she worshipped God and joined Greater Mount Sinai in Fairview, VA. She later joined New Jerusalem Holy Church, Cheapside, Virginia where she remained faithful until her passing.

She leaves to mourn three daughters Audrey Robinson (Larry) Fairview, VA., Frausteen Weeks (Stanley) Philadelphia, PA., Janet Bailey Bryn Mawr, PA. and one son Maurice Weeks Jr. Fairview, VA. Three granddaughters Consuelo Bailey (Ron) Salisbury, MD., Dominique Brown (Shaun Sr.) Fayetteville, N.C. and Tacquila Garcia, Fairview, Virginia. Five great grandchildren Christian, Brieana, Avery, Khadeja and Shaun Jr. One sister Margetta Conley, Bryn Mawr, PA. Two brothers-in-law Clarence Weeks (Jannie) Philadelphia, PA, Samuel Weeks (Joyce) Hampton, VA. Three sisters-in-law Maryetta Reid, Philadelphia, PA., Carrie Yon, Philadelphia, PA., and Mary Collins, Philadelphia, PA. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
