Lucille H. Rogers Obituary

Lucille H. Rogers, the daughter of Lottie Ella Smith Harmonson and Hampton Harmonson was born in Accomack County on October 22, 1938, and went home to be with the Lord on 
Friday, September 13, 2024. She spent most of her life in Northampton County in Exmore, VA. She attended Machipongo High School.

Lucille's last job was at Perdue. She was a devoted member and Deaconess of New Mount Zion Baptist Church, Painter, VA.

Lucille was married to the late Charlie C. Rogers in her early years. She had a zest for life and was passionate about traveling and gathering with family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, Louise Rogers, Dorothy Harmonson, and Helen Tolliver; and her brothers, Johnny Harmonson and Hampton Harmonson.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving daughter, Diana Harmonson-Walls, and son-in-law, Levi Walls, III of San Antonio, TX; Alice Smith Jones and her husband, Cleveland Jones of Painter, VA, and their daughter, Jaylah Jones of Fredericksburg, VA; and Albert Smith of Panama who were also her children at heart. She will be remembered by her sister-in-law, Sarah Harmonson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, special caregiver, Brenda Smith and all 
of her Nassawadox Rehabilitation family.
