Lazet Craig, 40, passed away at Riverside Memorial Hospital March 14, 2016. Lazet was born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Charles (Chucky) Craig and Judy Craig. She was raised in Staten Island, New York, where she attended school and went to church. After graduation she worked as a LPN, childcare provider, and as a manager at various fast food restaurants. She later moved to Virginia where she met the love of her life.

Lazet never had children but she raised many including nieces, nephews, two step children, and two foster children. She was nephews, two step children, and two foster children. She was always helpful and smiling. If you ever needed anything she was always there to help. She was an all around fun, happy, and loving person that drew you in with kindness. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.

She leaves behind to cherish fond memories: her mother, Judy Craig; husband, Robert Reed Jr.; two sisters, Juteka (Anthony) Reid and Yakina Craig; sister-in-law, Monica Giddens; brother-in-laws, Lorenzo Capers of Beaufort and James Bruce of Virginia; mother-in-law, Eleanor (Joshua) Reed; aunts, Roxanne (Robert) Reed, Charlette Ballard, Lavara Ballard, and Lareda (Thomas) Kellam; nieces, nephews and host of other family and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Charles Craig; grandmother, Betty Palmer; and grandfather LeRoy Palmer.
