LARRY MANLEY was born September 25, 1958 to the late Leona and William Nathaniel Manley of Cape Charles, Virginia. He was one of six siblings. God, in his infinite wisdom, called him home from labor to reward on Tuesday, November 18, 2014.
Larry was reared in Northampton County, where he attended public school. He later went on to work for many years at Bernie’s Conchs LLC and as a farm hand at Richardson Farm until he relocated to Bunnlevel, North Carolina. Larry was known for his incredible humor, he had the ability to have everyone around him overwhelmed with laughter. Larry was a great father, brother, uncle and friend. He was very loved and will truly be missed.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Leona Manley. Also predeceased by brother William Manley and sister Mamie Powell.
On November 18, Larry passed on leaving precious memories for family and friends to cherish. In addition to his wife Laverne Manley of Cheriton,VA he is survived by four daughters Tamakia Harmon(Jimmy) of Birdsnest,VA, Latisha Manley and Alexis Manley both of Bunnlevel, NC, and Cynthia Manley of Fairview,VA. Nine grand children Jayveon, Jazmina, Avery, Aleisha, Zaiveon, Xavier, Justice, Cyrus, and Jalena. Three brothers Samuel, Ardell, and Wendell Manley all of Cape Charles, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was also survived by Estella Martin, Solomon Mitchell, Antonio and Gerald McIvr, and Tiara Martin-Webster all of Bunnlevel,NC whom he embraced as his second family.
