Kenneth Leroy Burton, son of the late Mildred Burton and Benjamin Foeman, was born on June 14, 1962, in Nassawadox, Virginia. Kenneth entered eternal rest on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, Virginia.

Kenneth was educated in the Northampton County Public School System. After high school, he began working at the Palace Theatre in Cape Charles, Virginia. He was later employed by Perdue Farms, Eyre Hall Farm, Northampton County Public Schools, and B & B Contractors until his health began to fail. In 2018, his sister Helen became his caregiver and faithfully cared for him for seven years.

Kenneth was a hard-working man. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and his twin brother, Kelvin. He was known for cutting grass and being a handyman. He also enjoyed being outdoors, working in the yard, and doing the things he loved.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Burton and Benjamin Forman; one sister, Evelyn Dawkins; five brothers, Henry, Larry, Keith, Walter, and Thomas; one aunt, Edith Water; and uncles Solomon, Edward, Thomas, William, James, and Lewis.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Vivian Burton (Norfolk, Virginia); two daughters, Shantel Chandler (Accomac, Virginia) and Kadajah Burton (Norfolk, Virginia); two granddaughters, Sharde Chandler and Saniyah Cromwell (both of Accomac, Virginia); two grandsons, Steven Cromwell Jr. (Accomac, Virginia) and Keegan Serbenski (Norfolk, Virginia); two stepdaughters, Keyona Wynder (Travis, of Norfolk, Virginia) and Kiarah Edwards (Norfolk, Virginia); two step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter (Norfolk, Virginia); brothers, Kelvin Burton (Vickie, of Hare Valley, Virginia) and Benjamin Burton (Cheriton, Virginia); sisters, Clettie Burton (Accomac, Virginia), Helen Burton (Cheriton, Virginia), and Loretta Handy (Norman, of Nelsonia, Virginia); aunts, Evelena Gunter (Cheriton, Virginia) and Gloria Graves (Eastville, Virginia); sisters-in-law, Jean Burton (Chesapeake, Virginia), Vickie Burton (Hare Valley, Virginia), and Barbara Burton (Cape Charles, Virginia); brother-in-law, Norman Handy (Nelsonia, Virginia); and a host of nieces, nephews, and a best friend, Jackie Holder of Cape Charles, Virginia.
