Jessie Leon Jordan Obituary

Sometimes it’s hard to understand, and harder still to say

“Thy will be done” when sorrow comes and sadness fills our day.

Faith was meant for times like these, so let us take God’s hand

With loving wisdom, He will help our hearts to understand.

JESSIE LEON JORDAN, was born to Cynthia Jordan and Jessie Adams on October 29, 1989. God, in his infinite wisdom, called him home on Saturday, April 13, 2013.

Jessie, affectionately known to his family as “Alex” and better known to his friends as “Bob”, was reared in Howard University of Washington, D.C where he resided and attended school. In 1999, Alex relocated to the Eastern Shore of Virginia where he continued his education in the Northampton County Public Schools.

Alex was such a fun loving and caring person with a smile that touched the souls of many. He was a remarkable father and cherished every second spent with his daughters. Always the life of the party, Alex was sure to make your day.

Like his grandmother, Alex enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed good music, preparing good food and hanging out with his friends. His nieces and nephews loved him and spent countless hours attacking and playing with him. Alex loved every minute of it and kept those moments close to his heart.

He was predeceased by his grandmother Margaret and his grandfather, Calvin Collins.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Cynthia Jordan; father, Jessie Adams; stepfather, Kevin Williamson and stepmother, Robin Adams; his fiance’, Destinee Dorsey, two daughters, Zaiyna and Briyauna Jordan as well as his unborn child; grandmother, Lillian Jones; grandfather, Claude McCain; one brother; D’Andre Adams, Washington, D.C; four sisters, Tracy Johnson(Jake), Kristol Jordan(Chad), Kimberly Jordan(RJ), and Jessica Jordan(Rochelle); five nieces: Diamond, Shamira, Kiera, Jayla, and Laila; two nephews, Young C and Jayden; and a host of aunts and uncles with a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
