GENEVA SAVAGE, was born October 4, 1928. On the night of June 13, 2013 at 8:12 p.m, our hearts were saddened when the angels came upon Geneva Savage and took our loved one to her eternal home.

Geneva attended the public schools. She worked in the Seafood Industry in Oyster, Virginia. She loved to cook for friends and family while living in Bayford, Virginia.

Geneva was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where her children attended alongside her on Sundays, participating in the choir and the Usher Board. She would always have joyous things to say to lift your spirits. Due to sickness, she didn't attend church for a period of time although her loyalty and love for the Lord remained strong. She was loved by many friends and family.

She was married to Robert Savage Sr, and they had six children. 

Geneva leaves behind to cherish her memories: three daughters; Catherine Savage, Brenda Green, and Peggy Stevens; two sons, Joseph Savage (Selene) and Larry Savage; one brother, Deacon Daniel Custis (Mary); twenty grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. 

 

She will always remain in our hearts!
