Ezekiel Sewell Obituary

On September 25, 2019, God in his infinite mercy saw fit to call Ekeziel Sewell into eternal life. 

Zeek, as he was called, was born on May 17, 1952 to the late Richard Sewell Sr. and Ludella Shepard Sewell in Tensaw, Alabama. He worked for numerous manufacturing and farming companies in the local area. 

Ekeziel joined Capeville Baptist Church at an early age. 

Ekeziel was a devoted and loving Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend to many. His main focus was always on stepping out on faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sewell Sr and Ludella Sewell. His loving stepmother, Mrs. Sabor Toliver; his brothers, Charlie Abrams, Richard Sewell Jr., and John Henry Mitchell; his sister, Katherine Stanley; and step sisters, Frances, Nyoka, and Jannie. 

Ekeziel leaves to rejoice in his memory, One daughter, Two Brothers, Tony Jones, and Tom Abrams; Six step brothers, Milton Jones, Clarence Jones, Sampson Jones, Darnell Jones, and Marvin Jones, Three sisters, Sarah Martinez, Betty Starling, and Mary Banks; Two step sisters, Patricia Ames and Selene Savage. A host of nieces, nephews and a devoted niece Mary "Kathy" Sewell-Collins and her husband Ted; and a multitude of other loving relatives and friends.
