Dora Lee Mack of Birdsnest, Virginia formally of Alexandra Virginia died October 4, 2024, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Dora was born October 8,1956, in Hinton, West Virginia to the late Jeanette Elizabeth Banks and Moses Samuel Anderson.
Mrs. Mack was a social worker for Fairfax County Virginia for 35
years. She retired to take care of her husband Joe Mack. She enjoyed reading books going to the casino playing bingo, playing cards, spending time with her family and grandkids, and playing her blues.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Mack; two brothers, Clarence Banks and Ronald Banks and three sisters, Dream Ann Caul, Donna Sue Caul, and Monique Caul.
Her survivors include one daughter, Dedrie Anderson Spady; one son-in-law, Albert Spady, and one son, Shawn Ellsworth Anderson, both of Birdsnest, Virginia; four brothers, Lafayette Banks of New Jersey, William Caul of Jacksonville, Florida, Earl Dwayne Banks of Roanoke Virginia, Edward Caul of Roanoke, Virginia; one sister, Belinda Banks of Hinton, West Virginia; one best friend /sister-in-law, Amazetta Anderson of Roanoke, Virginia, three grandchildren Dante JaShawn Ellis, Tyann Aaliyah Paris Spady, Taishawn Alphonso Spady; five nieces, Kayla Banks, Brandy Banks, Celeste Banks, Corneta Monroe, Sundae Harshaw; one nephew, Carrington Caul and the love of her life, Lucille Louise Spady Mack, her beloved dog.
