Diane Young

Diane Young, daughter of the late George Young, Sr and Pearl Young was born on April 15, 1955 in Exmore, Virginia. She entered heavenly rest on January 7, 2026 at Golden Years Assisted Living in Hampton, Virginia. 

She attended Northampton Public Schools and received her high school diploma in 1983. She worked at the daycare center in Cheriton, Virginia and later at the clam-house in Cheriton, Virginia. Diane was an active member of Miracle Temple of Faith in Mappsville, Virginia, while residing at Quail Run Assisted Living in Gargatha, Virginia. 

Diane enjoyed doing puzzles, playing dominoes and going shopping. She liked to go on trips with other senior citizens. She loved attending church and praising God. 

Diane was predeceased by her parents, George and Pearl Young, three sisters Evonne Cunningham (Paterson, New Jersey), Margaret Harmon (Nassawadox, Virginia), and Deloise Lindsey (Paterson, New Jersey). 

She leaves to cherish her memories, two brothers George Young, Jr of Exmore, Virginia, David Young of Plainsville, New Jersey, one sister Shirley Young of Cape Charles, Virginia and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
