David M Stevens

God took home another Angel, David Mckinley Stevens, 64, on August 14, 2023, and entered eternal peace with Jesus Christ.

David was born in Eastville, Virginia on February 3, 1959, to the late Earnestine Elder Stevens(mother), and to the late Albert Satchell (Father).  In 1979, David graduated from Northampton Senior High School. 

In 1984, David moved to Newport News, Virginia with his best best friend Dorinda Weeks.

He was a hardworking man, and he loved his job as a Maintenance technician at Clover Leaf Apartment for over 12 years, and he also worked at BMS Maintenance Service for over 8 years.

David's life was filled with Love, Peace, Joy, and Dedication. He enjoyed going Fishing, Cooking, and of course Drinking his Beers. David loved his Family, and Friends. He touched so many lives with his love and his jokes that sometimes were crazy and corny.

David was preceded in death by, Two Brothers, Melvin Elder, and Arthur Lee Stevens, and Two Brothers-in-Law, Lonnie D. Jones, Sr., and Robert H. Harmon, Jr.

He is survived by a son David T. Stevens of Hampton, Virginia. He's also survived by his Three living Brothers Thomas Elder of Franktown, Virginia, Earl Stevens (Michell) of New British, Connecticut, Fred Stevens (Edna) of Painter, Virginia; Four sisters, Earnestine N. Jones of Richmond, Virginia, Lillian Viola Jones of Richmond, Virginia, Daisy Stevens Harmon Sutton of Spring Lake, North Carolina, and Odell Elder of Franktown, Virginia; Three Sisters-in-Law, Barbara  A. Stevens, Rita Smith Elder, and Elaine Elkerson; a special friend Catherine Pittman of Newport News for 17 years,  and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends
