Daryl Johnson was born September 13, 1954, to Preston D. Johnson and the late Ellen L. Johnson. Daryl was one of five siblings. Daryl was educated in the Northampton Publc School system. Where he later graduated. 

Daryl also known as he Millyard Philosopher asTonja Nottingham-Diggs would call him enjoyed relaxing. He could often be found sitting outside under the tree on the Millyard just shooting the breeze with everyone who came there. He also enjoyed watching TV, he loved cooking shows and westerns. 

Daryl was predeceased by his mother Ellen L. Johnson. 

Daryl was a devoted father, son, brother and was loved by everyone. On August 13, 2014 Daryl earned his wings as he passed on. To cherish his precious memories Daryl leaves behind father Preston D. Johnson. His children DeCarlo Johnson (Tanisha) of Trehernville,VA and Ethiopio “Mya” Johnson-Neal of Chesapeake. He leaves 1 brother Kenneth Johnson of Capeville,VA and 3 sisters Linda Wynder-Winstead (Vonzell) of Cheriton,VA, Patricia 
Anderson of Cheriton,VA, and Natoya Brown of Cheapside,VA. Grandchildren Shyheim Nock, Ke’Miya, Keith and Kamari Neal, Levontay Johnson, Keyon, Jasmine and Anjinai Blake. Great-Grandchildren Sai’ari and Zion Stevens and Jale’a Harmon. He also leaves a host of aunts and uncles, neices and nephews, cousins and friends.
