Carlton Terry Sr. was born to the late Moses Terry and Hattie Mack on March 13, 1936 in Norfolk, VA.  He graduated from Booker T. High School and was later drafted and served in the Korean War. Carlton was a dedicated worker and a loving father. . In 1993, after 25 years at the New Jersey Transit Department he retired.

Carlton leaves to cherish his  memories his devoted wife, Cynthia Terry; his daughters, Sheree’ Terry, Lareina Terry, CarLissa Terry and Chavon Davis and one son that carries his name Carlton Terry Jr. He also leaves a number of siblings  Doris Pollock, Thomas Terry, Custis Terry, Jacqueline Smith, Reginald Terry and a host of grandchildren , nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Carlton was predeceased by several siblings Moses Terry Jr., Velma Hattie Terry, Joseph Terry, Douglas Terry, Lawrence Terry, Garland Terry, Charles Terry and Wayland Terry.
