BRENDA SHEFFIELD of Nassawadox, Virginia formerly of Cape Charles, Virginia, peacefully traded time for eternity on April 10, 2018. She was born on September 17, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Leon Sheffield, Sr. and Mary Sheffield. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leon Sheffield, Jr. 

Brenda was a graduate of Northampton High School, Class of '73. She was employed with the Northampton County Public School system. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. 

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory: her son: Ricky Sheffield(Chanon); grandchildren: Niya, Rickey, and Jacobie; great grandson: Channing; sister: Linda Baines (son-Equine); niece, who was like a daughter, Eishaw Savage; and guardian sister: Shelia Scott (son-Jay) 

Special Gratitude to: cousins, Wanda and Dale; bestfriend: Dorlene Walton; special friends: Kelvin (Fred) Johnson and Gail Kemp Anderson; and a host of nephews, nieces other relatives, and friends. 

13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 

14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 

Funeral Services for Ms. Brenda Sheffield will be Saturday April 21, 2018 at New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, in Exmore, Virginia, where Reverend Jeffery L. Smith will be officiating.
