Antonio (Tony) Markell Owens was born on November 10, 1987, to Tammy Owens Stephenson (Michael) and Gregg Proctor II (Nequitia). He went to his eternal rest on January 25, 2015. Antonio received his education from the Virginia Beach City Public schools, and Woodside High School in Newport News, Virginia. Antonio loved to be with his family and friends; he loved to skateboard in his early childhood, and came to love music and dancing. He was simply a happy go lucky kid per his Mother. Antonio will be missed dearly, but never forgotten. He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers' Desmond Owens, William S. Taylor Jr., Quincy Stephenson (NY), and Gregg Proctor IV.  His sisters' Kiona Owens, Azaria Stephenson (NY), Sade Proctor, and Courtney Proctor. His Grandparents' Larry R. Owens Sr. (Annie Ruth), Bishop Gregg Proctor Jr. (Gwendolyn), and Richy Lundy (Joyce). His uncles' Larry R. Owens Jr. (Jocelyn-FL), Marvin Gay, Jason Stephenson (Franklin), Gerald Proctor, Glenn Proctor, Garrett Proctor and Gabriel Proctor.  His aunts' Pamela Hamilton, Marena Jordan (Antwan-NY), Laticia Johnson (Terrell-TX), Gloria Proctor, and Genesis Proctor along with a host of other relatives and friends.

In memory of our first grandchild.......when Antonio was first born weighing only 3lbs. 2oz. and 20 in. long. The doctor told us that he would not make it through the night. I looked down at Antonio's face and then looked at the Doctor.....I told the Doctor to look at Antonio and then look back at me..... I told the Doctor there is nothing but Owens all in him, we are strong and his is going to make it through the night, the next night, and the night after that.......and God allowed Antonio to see 27 years. We will always love you and miss you,
