Allen Buddy Green

Allen Green set sail to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Allen was affectionately known as “Buddy” by his family and friends. He was born on February 11, 1946 in Newsome, Virginia to Cubie and Stella Green. 

Buddy retired from the C.P.O Club at Naval Station Norfolk. He later joined Chesapeake Public Schools to remain active and give back to his community. He loved music, cooking for his close friends and dressing to the “T.”

Allen will be greatly missed, but his family is certain that he is in a much better place.

Allen leaves behind a son, Twan Higgs (Niki), a brother, Samuel Green, and grandchildren, Ciara, Taiwan, Nari, Mimi, and Shallah.
